I'm a little late getting this out, but even though there was no game this weekend, McCarthy had his weekely press conference today, October 22nd.

He spent a lot of time fielding questions about Koren, and I am very excited he is coming back, and it sounds like he is in good shape:

Q. How did Koren look today?
A. Koren had a good practice. He's in good shape. He seems to have excellent recall. We only worked on first down today, run and play-action. So the volume of what we put in wasn't very high, but he had a good day.

And more good news, looks like Wells is on target to play Monday against Denver:

Q. Does it look good for Wells this week?
A. Hope so. We can do that Thursday I think is when we talk about the injuries.
