Colin Cole placed in IR

NFL Football player Colin ColeColin Cole will miss the rest of the year after being placed on IR today. With the extra roster spot the Packers signed Marviel Underwood, a fourth round safety who was with the Packers for two years. Cole broke his forearm against the Lions.

Besides Cole, injuries continue to be an issue. From the early reports it does not look like KGB will be able to go on Thursday, and it does not look like Rouse will be able to go either. Nick Collins will probably start against the Cowboys, but it is not clear if he is starting a little early because of the knee for Rouse.

Bubba Franks should be back for Dallas, and Woodson will almost certainly play, although he will probably not be 100%.

With Jolly and Cole out for Thursdays game, look for Justin Harrell to get more playing time. He has been back from injury for 14 days, and Coach McCarthy said at his press conference that he still expects Harrell to contribute.

The official NFL injury reports are due out on Tuesday, we should know more then.

Brief

The NFL decided not to peruse the Packers in what was hyped as the 'Bounty' story. I didn't really think there was much too it, I am glad they did not fine the players.

NFL Video has some good video up. There is Coach McCarthy's press conference and a highlight reel from Thursday.

The early line is Dallas by 6 1/2. I'm tempted...

UPDATE!
According to ESPN, Dallas' #2 receiver Patrick Crayton should be good to go on Thursday
