The Giants upset the Cowboys today 21-17 to advance to the NFC Championship game next Sunday. On Sunday, January 20th they will come to Lambeau to face the Packers.

In my last post I said I would root for the Cowboys just so the Packers could finally beat them there, but during the game I couldn't help but root for the Giants, I just dislike the Cowboys that much. (Probably because the always beat the Packers.) If the Cowboys had beat the Giants, I am still confident the Packers could have beat them, the Cowboys did not look that sharp today.

The Giants are a good team, but right now I do not think they are as good of a team as the Packers are, and I fully expect Green Bay to face the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

The Giants vs Cowboys game was a great game, and a great finish to a fun weekend of playoff football.

I watched both games today and the winners were so beat up physically that I don’t think either one of them will be able to compete next week. The Chargers lost both Ladanian Tomlinson and Philip Rivers. That’s the equivalent of the Packers trying to compete without Favre and Grant. I can’t remember who the injured Giants were except for Aaron Ross, their starting cornerback, but it seemed like there were a few players that got hurt.

Even if all the injured players can return in a week, and I think Ross is done for the year, they won’t be 100%. The Patriots and Packers are both healthy and that won’t make it easy for the road teams. It looks to me like it’ll be a rematch of Super Bowl XXXI.

I couldn't agree more.

It looks like the Packers are Super Bowl bound!

Do the Giants have an indoor stadium? Will they be used to the high of 5º?

Willy,

I am not sure, but I think the Giants play outside as well.

However, I heard someone did research that said only half the Giants team ever played in less than 32 degrees.
